Cyril “Bullwhip” Innis, Jr. — was a member of the Corona, Queens Branch of the BPP. He held several leadership positions and later retired from the New York City Board of Education. He is part of the Black Panther Commemoration Committee New York, which hosts an annual film festival to raise money for political prisoners. He’s a Vanguard, he remains active in our struggles that continues! All Power To The People!!

River. It's the only section of Orleans Parish district located on the West Bank of the Mississippi River. Algiers is known as the 15th Ward.  It's one of the oldest Wards of the 17 Wards in New Orleans. Following chattel slavery along the Mississippi River. It became the birthplace of  Jazz in the early 1900s.
